IKEA Dahmer is my new punk rock name.
<SubWolf> Now I just need some furniture.
<SubWolf> PC and its peripherals are sitting on a rather unsteady shelf system.
[Fogarty] Cinder blocks and two-by-fours?
[Fogarty] Or carboard and toothpicks?
<SubWolf> Heh, $30 shelf system from Wal-Mart.
[Fogarty] Ah! So the latter, then?
[Fogarty] I need to get a bookshelf, come to think of it.
[Fogarty] I'd go the cinder block and two-by-four route if the damsel wouldn't shoot me for making the house look like it was decorated by a serial killer.
<SubWolf> Heh
[Fogarty] It's the IKEA Dahmer selection. Hey, that wouldn't be a bad punk rock name! Like Jello Biafra. IKEA Dahmer.

My sister came up with the best punk rock name ever.

I used to tease her and call her Judy Carne. I know, wierd way to tease your sister. Anyway, she came up with...wait for it...Juday Carnage!

Awesome right?

That IS nice! Well, you know. "Nice!"

Hey, do you want to do a banjo/accordion/vocal project that might cover a low-key (but still intense) version of Hüsker Dü's "Divide and Conquer?" I've somehow had it in mind for ages and hoped you might want to be a part of it.

Maybe we could put out a four-song 7" or something...

OH! Also! Have you ever heard of Bruce Molsky? We saw him at Irish Fest in Milwaukee a couple of years back, and I think you might like him. Makes me want to learn banjo, too (though I am far too clumsy)!

Kittens, ahoy! Kittens are good people! And even some Americans are okay!

And American kittens? Well, it goes without saying! Kittens worldwide rule us all! Viking kittens, superlatively so!

Bob -

You still crack me up. IKEA Dahmer is brilliant. It looks like a Japanese pro-wrestling name, too. You know, how some names are all caps because they're somehow more important? I'm not sure exactly how that works, but you get my drift.

Aye, sir! I guess I could add the nautical theme and go with Aye-kea Dahmer, but it seems to lose its punch, somehow.

AYEKEA Dahmer? Hargh?

So many names to keep track of! I guess they're like clothes, really. We wear new ones when the old ones need washing. Which reminds me: It's laundry day!

I feel like pulling a Dahmer every time I set foot into IKEA, so that nickname makes perfect sense to me. If personalized hells exist, I'm going to IKEA when I die.*

Oh, come on! How can you discard all notions of the supernatural when there are things like this among us?

I'm not saying you have to believe in ghosts or godlings, but the world is filled with unexplained wonders to behold! BEHOLD!
